The Surface of the Moon
“I thought I was looking at the surface of the moon.” - my favorite comment on this photograph.
This is water tower near my home. I love finding things to isolate with the perspective you can achieve using a drone.
When the lockdown started I was just flying to fly, making a few pictures while I was up there. This set was deliberate. I set out for these places.
The water tower was first. I can see it from my house and that images was made after several flights out to it at different times of day. The pocket park and community garden were next.
Isolation is something I like to do with a drone and I do it a lot. It’s got nothing to go with the current isolation most of us are involved in to one degree or another right not. Although, editing these images was like walking through a dream and then seeing one thing moving (that girl on a bicycle.)
