Kairos
There was a part of my job that required covering a number of events and turning over the images very quickly. The typical event is four days long with a deadline for presentation on the fourth day, so I edit as I go on a laptop. I can only afford to spend 30 seconds on each edit. Some of them I spend a little more time on. There are usually three or four of these every year.
I liked this part of my job.
I turned the images over to the yearbook and to the kids who were on the event when I finish, but for the most part people don’t see these except on the event itself.
About a month after I started going though old images and pulling out my favorites the program was cancelled by new administration.
