What a PICU Sounds Like

Two brief slices of sound from the first night in the pediatric intensive care unit with my son. Some noise from the recorder, but most of the background noise is the oxygen machine and other equipment. You can hear me fiddling with the input gain once or twice.

The regular beeps are his heart monitor and the alarm in the background is his oxygen falling below 90. We were watching "Zootopia" on the TV, the speaker was in the remote which was lying next to him on the bed.

The image in the background was from the same time as the recording, around 12:30 in the morning.
