The Opinel No. 8

Given to me as a birthday present. In part because of this piece on Epicurious. I already hang a leatherman from my belt for everyday use. This will be my food knife both on the road and in the office.

This was taken on my desk during lunch on the very birthday for which it was a gift. (I’ll have to get some proper images of it later).

Update: It’s near the end of October and this knife is always in my pocket. It’s peeled mangoes in Midland and carved pumpkins at home and been handy at every work lunch in between. Plus it’s nice to have a reminder of Ang wherever I go.
